Why so fearful?

You can only die once.

Maybe it’s that we fear it will be slow versus the actual risk we’re afraid of. The pain more than the lose is what’s at stake, maybe. Most of what we fear, and say will kill us, won’t. Embarrassment, the unknown, physical discomfort, shame.

Hesitation might. Trepidation, might.
