Chief Champion of You!

When I established my firm, Revival Development Services (www.revivaldevelopmentservices.com) I did not want to take on the CEO title. Not egotistically, my role extends beyond just being the Chief Executive of my firm.

So I went with President. Official title within the LLC. I also use Founder, because I am. CEO though? Eh. For the first almost year I was an Army of One.

However, what does President/Founder really convey to the part of the business world I operate in? After all a title is meaningful as it sets an initial impression about your role and importance to an organization.

Then an idea struck me. Use the moniker “Chief Champion of You!” As a professional service provider/consultant/subject matter expert, I am brought in to take on highly unique and niche things my clients don’t want to or can’t fulfill within their organization. They hire on my experiences (including the value of mistakes made and fixed), knowledge, and they hire on a Champion.

When I thought about what I am really doing, “Chief Champion of You!” seemed to fit best. I am the Champion for Your Project! As the head of the firm, I am the Chief!

Have a look at my thoughts back in July 2020 on my You Tube Channel.
