Chef
Finished re-watching the movie Chef. I avoided this movie for years because I was just over the food as life, love, entertainment, and hipstery requirement to be cool. Have watched it a few times over past few years. This is not a story about food. Or chefs.
What that movie triggers in my mind though is 1) don’t move on from what you love to do when you have a set back. Actually that’s the time to double down because it’s life giving you a signal to move in a new direction because where you’re at is not right; and 2) don’t let opportunities to take others like your kids along with you.
The best scenes for me are the coast to coast food truck adventures with Karl Casper and Percy. Reminds me of road trips I’ve had with my son Aden, but also a little bit about how I’ve involved him in my business.
