Biggest Deals of the Year….None of Them Mine

2021 not bad thus far.

So far the biggest deals for me this year have nothing to do with the prosperity of my business. They in fact are opportunities that I have been able to help others win(or potentially as a few have not totally made yet).

They are…..and I won’t give exact details……

1. Referred out a professional friend of mine to a potential client that was referred to me. What they really needed is what she did. I helped match them up. Totally awesome. Both sides win.
2. In my business I respond to a lot of RFPs including acquiring property from public agencies. I volunteered my time and format to help a friend seeking a property that fit his business.
3. Ran through several things that another professional friend needed to be aware of and how her clients could structure stuff.
4. TBD. I will be adding to this list as more come along.

What’s in it for me? It feels good. And it was fun to celebrate a little in case 1. Helped me refine a few skills in the rest. Pretty even trade if you ask me. I love to win even when the win is helping others and not me directly. And these are all opportunities to keep me sharp.

Giving stuff away is not always to your detriment. I believe it seldom is.
